Your Most Important Day of the Year

If I asked you, what is the most important day in the upcoming year, would you have a solid answer for me? 
 
‘Well Marvin, isn't every day equally important?’ 
 
Nope - the most important day for you is today. 
 
‘Well why?’

Answer:
 
Before you can actually achieve and complete a worthwhile goal, you must first experience the goal in your mind and in your heart.  And remember, what you feel in your heart is far more important than what you think in your mind. 
 
Memorize this quote:
 
“The head can't stop what the heart wants.” 
 
Man, that is good stuff. The head can't stop what the heart wants.  So the truth is, when you actually accomplish your goals, you’re doing it for the second time. That’s because the first time you accomplished the goal was when you decided in your mind to achieve it and decided in your heart that it was meaningful to do. 
 
Here's your action plan:
 
Step one:  Write down the goals and dreams that popped in your head when you were reading this article. Remember, until you write it down it is not a real goal. Dreams never become reality without persistence, hard work and written goals.  
 
Step two:  Decide if today is going to be your most important day.  Nothing will save you if you are unwilling to decide and commit.  
 
Step three:   List the frivolous distractions, interruptions and time wasters in your life, and eliminate them.  Now you will have much more time to work on what's really important.  
 
Step four:  If you get stuck, as we most often do, give me a holler and we'll work through it. You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to start.
