The Five Impossibles Of Leadership

For many leaders, admitting defeat is difficult. But that's not what I'm talking about here. What I want you to do with this exercise is to recognize the true nature of the challenges and opportunities that you face as a leader. Only by doing that can we as leaders fully employ our ability to grow more resilient, successful and empowered teams.  So, let's take a look at what exactly I mean by 'impossibles'...

1. You cannot over-communicate-it’s impossible.

2. You cannot listen too hard-it’s impossible.

3. You cannot produce significant numbers without written goals-it’s impossible.

4. You cannot motivate people-it’s impossible. You can only hire motivated people.

5. You cannot have a high-powered team with low energy people-it’s impossible.
