These statements below are great for your morning meditation & your team meetings. Use them!

The “Do's and Dont's” of an Agency Owner...
​
  1. Don't go to the post office or the bank - ever!
  2. Don't have appointments outside of your office if you can avoid it.
  3. Don't meet clients in your immediate office. Only meet them in your team members office or your conference room.
  4. Don't use a computer when you could have used a white board.
  5. Don't forget to ask for a referral/introduction after a customer has called in with a service question.
  6. Don't forget to ask for referrals even with someone that does not buy.
  7. Don't rush to end an appointment because you just sold something. Stay and get the referrals.
  8. Don't have any chair other than your own chair in your immediate office. It encourages people to have a quick meeting and get to the point.
  9. Do say please say “please”, “ thank you”, and “I’m sorry” a lot.
  10. Don't say, “it's okay”, or “I agree” when it's not okay and you don't agree.
  11. Don't hold grudges. If you have a dispute and the dispute gets settled, then move on. Lingering resentment is poison to the human body and poison for a team.
  12. Don't panic when you're having bad moments in your day. Grow some character and get into the next most important project.
  13. Don't wish things were better, wish you were better and start working harder on yourself.
  14. Do keep your promises and your appointments.
