The following are some tips on how you can increase your visibility and promote yourself.
First, it's important for people to know who they're working with when hiring an outside expert or contributing expertise in their field of work environment so...
that there isn't any confusion about what type of contribution this person will make toward team objectives going forward.
Next up - get visible! Make sure all managers have easy access through email addresses/IM's so communication doesn’t break down because one party was missed out by chance (I'll bet happens more than sometimes).
Thirdly - share relevant content related directly back into social media channels like LinkedIn group discussions & company profiles.
The 4th and final piece of this puzzle is to provide ongoing feedback.
This can be done in a number of ways, but the most important part is that it's regular and relevant.
